PLAN AND CONSTRUCTION 2003

The opening of the Studio to the public represents the chance to get to the heart of Achille Castiglioni’s projects, understanding the logics behind the objects he designs. Here, you have the opportunity to access the archive that contains five decades of projects, and the most interesting aspect is probably the possibility to analyze those works in the very place where they have been conceived, catching the atmosphere, the environment that has inspired and received them at the same time.
It is also possible to visit the large collection of common objects, tools or anonymous findings of everyday life that Achille Castiglioni enjoyed to collect.

How to get there:
FNM, Cadorna station; MM1 Cairoli; MM2 Cadorna; all overground transportation passing through Cairoli.

Modern architecture in the surrounding areas:
Castello Sforzesco and Musei del Castello (Museo dell'Arredamento)

Public opening hours:
Monday through Friday: 10.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.
(free admission; reservations required for groups and schools)
